Suspended from above, a glowing beehive radiates light over a constellation of 3D-printed bees and pollen—each component symbolizing the cross-pollination of ideas within a vibrant academic ecosystem.

An acronym for Synergistic Wisdom and Research Methodologies, SWARM honors the pioneering spirit of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS), whose research into ecosystems and pollinators inspired this work. Much like a swarm of bees moving in synchrony to gather, pollinate, and sustain, the sculpture reflects the generative process of knowledge exchange—a process where research, creativity, and community thrive in harmony.
